Summary: EnduroCoach uses the information you provide to generate fitness plans, nutrition guidance, workout recommendations, and subscription access. HealthKit access is optional and only used with your permission.

1. Who We Are

EnduroCoach ("EnduroCoach", "we", "our", or "us") provides a mobile fitness coaching app that helps users create workout plans, track fitness progress, review nutrition goals, and access premium coaching features.

2. Information We Collect

Account and profile information

We may collect information you enter into the app, including your name, email address, age or date of birth, gender, height, weight, fitness goals, activity level, workout preferences, equipment access, dietary preferences, and onboarding answers.

Fitness, nutrition, and app activity information

We may collect workout plans, workout history, BMI records, training preferences, meal or nutrition entries, hydration information, progress data, and feature usage information generated while using the app.

Apple HealthKit information

If you choose to connect Apple Health, EnduroCoach may request permission to read fitness-related HealthKit data such as workouts, activity, heart rate, steps, distance, calories, and other fitness metrics supported by your device. HealthKit access is optional and controlled by Apple permission prompts and iOS Settings.

Camera and photo information

If you choose to use meal photo or nutrition features, the app may request access to your camera or photo library so you can capture or select meal images. We only access these features when you choose to use them.

Purchase information

Subscriptions and in-app purchases are processed by Apple App Store using StoreKit. We do not collect or store your full payment card details. We may receive purchase status information, such as whether your subscription is active, expired, cancelled, restored, or unavailable.

Device and diagnostic information

We may collect limited technical information such as device type, operating system version, app version, crash logs, and diagnostics to maintain app performance and fix issues.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to:

Create personalized workout plans and fitness recommendations.
Provide BMI, nutrition, and general wellness information.
Track progress and display dashboard insights.
Enable subscription access and restore purchases.
Send reminders or notifications if you allow them.
Improve app reliability, safety, and user experience.
Respond to support, legal, or security requests.

4. HealthKit Data

EnduroCoach uses Apple HealthKit data only to provide fitness-related app features, such as generating personalized workout plans, understanding activity trends, and improving training recommendations.

We do not use HealthKit data for advertising. We do not sell HealthKit data. We do not share HealthKit data with third parties for marketing or advertising. You can change or revoke HealthKit permissions at any time in iOS Settings.

5. Medical and Fitness Disclaimer

EnduroCoach provides general fitness, nutrition, and wellness information. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting a new exercise, diet, or wellness program, especially if you have a medical condition, injury, or health concern.

6. How We Store Information

Information may be stored locally on your device and, where backend features are enabled, on secure backend services used by the app. Apple Health information remains controlled through Apple HealthKit permissions. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect information, but no system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

7. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited information only in the following situations:

With service providers that help operate the app, store data, process diagnostics, or provide app functionality.
With Apple when required for App Store purchases, subscriptions, refunds, or purchase restoration.
When required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and security.
With your consent or at your direction.

8. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, or restrict use of your personal information. You can also:

Update profile information in the app where available.
Disable notifications in device settings.
Revoke HealthKit permissions in iOS Settings.
Delete local app data by removing the app from your device.
Contact us to request help with account or data deletion.

9. Children

EnduroCoach is not directed to children under 13 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

10. International Users

Your information may be processed in countries other than where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international data transfers.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and may provide notice in the app or on this page.
